DTP data transfer instructions
To make DTP work the most efficient and fluent, the following instructions must be followed.
Data transfer
- E-mail: sata-flexo@sata-flexo.fi (max. 20Mb)
- FTP (over 20 Mb files): ask for your ftp username and password from Sata-Flexo
- CD/DVD/USB-stick

- ArtPro
- Freehand
- Illustrator
Picture handling
- Photoshop
Not preferred, but applicable
- Hi-Resolution PDF
- QuarkXPress
- InDesign
- CorelDraw
Basic instructions
- Open file format (design and pictures separately)
- 1:1 size
- Color print or PDF attached
- Texts and translations completed (converted and unconverted)

• converted version (texts converted to graphics)
- All used fonts attached
- All elements of the job should be modifiable regarding the size, colour, shape and rasterization line density
- All external elements (pictures) should be linked to the job (not embedded)
- Picture as .eps, .tiff or .psd (not compressed)
- Picture resolution min. 300 dpi
Additional instructions
- Number of colours announced
- Colour samples or references attached (e.g. Pantone C or U -numbers)
- All additional not work related extra files removed
- 100% data delivery at time (=all data delivered once), no additional updates
- Your contact information attached
PDF proof acceptance instructions
- Adobe Acrobat 8.0 or later version to be used
- Overprint viewing mode on (to see the overprint of colours)
- Comments, corrections and instructions to be made on PDF
